About Baja Paws Rescue
Our Mission
Our mission is to improve the lives of dogs and cats throughout Southern and Baja California. We accomplish this through spay and neuter, medical and preventative care, adoption, and our various community programs.
Our Spay & Neuter Program
We have an ongoing campaign in Ensenada. We partner with vets to give back to the community by providing free spay and neuters to animals in need. This not only reduces overpopulation, but it reduces the spread of diseases and unwanted behaviors. Since 2023, we have kept over 1000 animals from reproducing.
Gray Tails
We find it very important to give back. Gray Tails was created to give back to our elderly communities. It gives the animals time to socialize and the residents enjoy these sweet interactions with our rescue babies.
Our Nursery Program
Every year hundreds of infant animals are orphaned and require specialized care to survive. We have a dedicated team of bottle feeders committed to their needs.
Our Baja Paws Family
Our rescue’s success is a direct result of our wonderful team of fosters, volunteers, adopters, and donors. We would not be able to do what we do without them. They dedicate their time & love to our animals and we are so grateful for our family.
