Baja Paws Rescue is a foster-based nonprofit organization dedicated to saving animals
Our mission is to rescue dogs and cats throughout Southern and Baja California. We are focused on reducing overpopulation. It's pivotal to give back to the communities we rescue from through education and spay/neuter.
Our primary focus is to give as many dogs and cats the opportunity to have the best quality of life possible. We lend our support in as many ways as we can. From spaying/neutering, to prevention, to educating the public, we try our best to help communities.
We started in 2020 but were officially established in 2021.
We are a growing 5o1c3 non-profit organization.
We have adopted out over 1200 animals. This isnβt including the hundreds of dogs and cats weβve spayed/neutered to prevent more homeless animals.
We take in as many animals as we have fosters.

All of our animals are seen by a vet. At a minimum, they have received one round of vaccines, have been dewormed, and have been spayed/neutered.
Our intake process is thorough to ensure a healthy animal. Every animal that comes into our care is preventatively treated. From there, additional care may be required.
All of our animals are spayed/neutered. We are committed to spaying and neutering all animals in our care.
We are foster based throughout San Diego.
